About Me
I like quiet walks along the beach and ...oh wait, that's my OTHER profile.
I went on my first camping trip at the age of 16 in the Everglades National Park just outside of Miami, Florida. 35 years later I still enjoy loading up my gear to go hiking and camping in the great outdoors. Now a resident of Orlando, Florida, I appreciates the variety of opportunities the Central Florida landscape and weather allow when it comes to camping, hiking and backpacking, while also taking occasional trips out of state to experience colder weather and different environments.
I'm a member of The Wilderness Trekkers, a Central Florida not-for-profit organization with 400+ members dedicated to the education and promotion of the responsible recreational use and enjoyment of the outdoors, the Orlando Adventurers Group and the Florida Trail Association, a nonprofit volunteer organization that builds, maintains, protects, and promotes the 1,400 mile Florida Trail (one of only eight National Scenic Tra
