The Shelters are free. You just have to reserve them with the National Park Service through the park. But they book up quickly from what I'm told, and booking 1 month in advance is a good idea. The Mt Leconte lodge costs $97/night and that includes dinner and breakfast. (5-29-2008 2:40 PM)
