About Me
Being outdoors, I've learned a great many things about wilderness ethics, trip planning, group dynamics, reading the land and the weather, and the kind of person I wanted to be. Over time, I've organized a slough of backpacking trips and cycling events in Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Nevada and Northern California.
For most of this decade, I've been organizing regular hikes for family, friends, and coworkers, and I've attended and hosted a variety of wine tastings for even longer. Along the way, I've discovered that people really love to combine the outdoors and fine wine. Leading winehiking tours, and blogging about the California winehiking experience, is serious fun for me.
